Charles Cabell IV

Founder

Born in Brazil, Charlie’s fondest childhood memories revolve around exploring the forests near his parents’ home. Undoubtedly, these experiences have shaped his enthusiasm for nature and his passion to be a dedicated advocate for forests.

After more than 25 years as an entrepreneur, spanning countries like the United States, Indonesia, and China, Charlie felt a calling to use his skills to make a positive impact on our planet. Motivated by his love for the environment, he embarked on this journey driven by a simple belief: that we can all make a positive impact in the world.

Inspired by the ground-breaking principles of "Project Drawdown", Charlie stumbled upon the awe-inspiring Miyawaki methodology and was instantly captivated by its revolutionary approach. It was in Lisbon that he finally found the perfect opportunity to immerse himself in this incredible methodology.

Emerging from the difficulties of the COVID lockdown in 2021, Charlie embarked on a mission to establish Forest Impact and bring to life Portugal's very first Miyawaki forest during the upcoming winter. With unwavering determination and an unyielding passion, he set out to popularise the transformative concept of the Miyawaki Forest in Portugal.

When he's not immersed in his environmental pursuits, you can find Charlie being an amazing dad and riding the waves as a talented surfer.
